Would there be an issue/conflict of interest if I also wrote for this contest?
Who would I need to speak to about questions regarding this?

If you plan to submit for the Pod and Planet, you should not submit here. Last year's rules for the Pod and Planet specified "-The work should be a new work and not have been posted or published before. Sorry, to be fair to everyone we have to follow a bright-line, no exceptions rule on this."
Thanks for the response. Since they limit their submissions to 5000 words and I am somewhere around 12000 words on my writing so far, I will go ahead and just submit to your contest. Thanks for your time.
